I lived as a hetero woman for twenty years (at least in public) because of internalized Biphobia. Now that I’ve come out publicly my status is largely being ignored by people I call family. That’s alright to some degree, because if their opinions are negative ones I’d much prefer not to hear them. But I also think it’s because I’m in a man/woman marriage so people think it’s a non issue.

I wonder what might happen if I bring my girlfriend home for the holidays…
