- This article is not an apology to anyone, I don’t apologize for things that aren’t my fault.
- If we continue to generalize and say “all men” or “Them” we lose the ability to evaluate each individual on his or her own merit. That mentality is why race relations in our country are so awful. White people have always viewed it as and Us Vs Them problem. That’s not the case, it’s a societal problem.
- Asking men to fix toxic masculinity without, as women, supporting that movement is akin to trying to get white people to fix racism without involving people of color in the discussion. Divides breed further divides.
